DIY Remote Blast Gates – The Update & FAQ | New Sizes, Power Options + Improvements

Never has one of my projects gained as much interest and feedback as the DIY Remote Blast Gate Valves. So much so that I decided to make this follow-up video to serve both as an FAQ and as an update on new features, functionality, and (most importantly) new sizes now available.

The most common request I received was: “Please make a gate for my size system!” Based on your feedback and further testing, I’m excited to release three new sizes in addition to the original 4" (100 mm) version: New Sizes Available: 2.5" (61.5 mm, 63 mm, 63.5 mm) 5.0" (127 mm) 6.0" (153 mm) The 4.0" model has also been updated with several design improvements and refinements.

I’ve also introduced AC-powered gates, so you’re no longer limited to running on batteries. Plus, there are new servo plates and servo arms to suit a wider range of motor types. Work will almost certainly continue on this project, but for now, a huge thank-you to everyone who has supported and shared feedback along the way!
