2.5" (63.5 mm) Ball Valve Blast Gate – Fully Assembled
After countless requests, I’m finally offering a fully assembled, ready-to-install version of my 2.5" (63.5 mm) ball valve blast gate. This version is now with an updated handle for smoother operation and better leverage.
 
There are two versions available:
  • Standard Straight Gate Manual
  • Manifold Gate Manul
     
Every unit is printed from durable PETG, assembled by hand, and tested to make sure it opens and closes cleanly. If you’ve wanted the convenience of a printed blast gate without the print time or assembly work, this is it.

  • Fully assembled, ready out of the box
    No screws, bolts, or fiddling required. Just connect it to your dust collection line and you’re good to go.
  • Ball-valve style design 
    Provides excellent airflow with minimal restriction compared to traditional sliding gates. Updated handle design.
  • Printed in PETG for workshop durability
    Suitable for woodworking dust collection and general workshop extraction.
  • Designed to match standard 2.5" ducting (63.5mm)
    Output/input profiles match 2.5" ducting (66.5 mm OD, 63.5 mm ID). A coupler or flex hose is recommended for connection.
  • Built and finished by hand
    Each gate is individually printed, assembled, and lightly finished. Minor cosmetic artefacts or light scratches may be present, nothing that affects performance.
  • Hobby use recommended
    Ideal for home workshops or hobby setups (not intended as a certified commercial dust-extraction component).
  • Hard stops included
    Custom hard stops are included, but not attached to the gate.  This is so you can choose whether to fit them, or omit them depending on your preference, and which way you want the gate to open and close. The magnets to attach are included, but also not fitted to the stops.  This gives the option to choose which side or angle, you want your stops to operate on.

  • Temperature & Use Notes
    All gates are printed in PETG which offers good heat resistance compared to PLA, however it’s still a thermoplastic. To keep your blast gate performing well:

    • Avoid installing near heaters, direct sunlight, or anything that radiates sustained heat.

    • Recommended for environments under 70–80°C (typical PETG softening range begins around 80–90°C).

    • Great for indoor workshops.
