I combined two brilliant box joint jig concepts into one
I've wanted to build a dedicated box joint jig for a long time. While there are plenty of great box joint jigs already out there, there were two designs in particular that really inspired me. DIY Omnidirectional Mobile Base for my bandsaw (Under $50)
When you’ve got a small workshop, it’s pretty common to have your machines on wheels. It makes it easy to move tools into position when you need them, and tuck them away when you don’t. The downside though, is that most mobile bases use two swivel wheels and two fixed wheels. That means turning or moving them sideways often turns into a bit of a ‘20-point turn’… which isn’t ideal in a tight space.
